Subject: xdvik: missing its `File' button

I've just completed re-installation of (|La|Bib)TeX/web/xdvik after an attempt
which failed (apparently because I wasn't industrious enough about the details
of installation).  Now that I have xdvik up and running, I find that it doesn't
have the `File' button I'm used to (from a version of xdvi someone else found
and installed in my last job).  Perusing the man page (no info page for xdvik) I
find no mention of the functionality of the File button.  The relevant action is
all fairly obvious; it comes up with a window in which to select the file to be
viewed; this actually had three columns [current directory, parent, grandparent]
to help in navigation; selecting a dvi file put that onto a `selected' widget;
clicking OK/OPEN then opened the selected file (QUIT was also available).

Do you know of a version which has this functionality ?
Is it something you intend to add (or have added since v1.8) to xdvik ?
